Alabama Policy Institute Fellow J. Pepper Bryars recently warned against the financial risks if Alabama expands Medicaid during an appearance on the Midday Mobile radio program, hosted by Sean Sullivan on Talk 106.5 FM.

Bryars noted that while credible economists are predicting both an economic boon and a budget bust by the action, the actual evidence is showing the move would cost taxpayers millions more than advertised.
